Fahad Ali Al Ansari

Chief Executive Officer

Fahad Ali Al Ansari joined Gasal Company in 2023 as the Chief Executive Officer of the company bringing almost three decades of diverse expertise working in Qatar’s energy sector across several technical, marketing and executive roles.

Prior to joining Gasal, Fahad had gained an impressive track record working within QatarEnergy, RasGas (now Qatargas) and the Ministry of Electricity and Water. In these roles Fahad held senior positions leading capital projects across Qatar including project management, development, maintenance, continuous improvement and ensuring that all quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) policies and procedures were incorporated into the day-to-day operations as an inherent requirement of everyone on site.

During his career, Fahad has also been proud to have been asked to join several key organisations Board of Directors in the petrochemical, industrial and energy sectors where he has held the positions of Chairman, (Vice-Chairman) and Member.

Fahad holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and has continued to develop his skills through a wide range of executive director level training programmes from respected global academic educational institutions.

Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Al-Kuwari holds a Degree in Accountancy from the Beirut Arab University, Lebanon in 1997 and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Board of Accountants, USA in 2001 and Chartered Auditor in the State of Qatar in 2003. He joined QatarEnergy (Formerly Qatar Petroleum) in 1991 beginning his robust career in Finance working as Technical and Budget Accountant. He expanded his career acquiring the position of Senior Management Accountant in 1997 at Qatar National Bank, then in 2003 joining Ras-Gas where he started as Head of Management Reporting, working his way up as Accounting Manager, Treasury Manager, then, Treasurer.

In 2012, he took the role as Chief Financial Officer in QatarEnergy (Formerly Qatar Petroleum) working in their QE-International activities.

Yelena Dash

Chief Contracts & Procurement Officer

Yelena is bringing more than 15 years of experience in contracts management, particularly dealing with EPC contractors in the Oil & Gas sector. She holds a CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply along with Master Degree in Business Management and Linguistics from the Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Russia. She started her career as a Technical Translator in Drilling and Exploration department in Chevron joint venture in Kazakhstan and subsequently moved to the contracts, procurement and supply chain management field, where she pursued her career until present day.

Mohamed Al-Mannai

Chief Human Capital Officer

Mr. Al-Mannai is a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami, USA in 1997. He joined Qatar Petrochemical Ltd (QAPCO) in 1997 beginning his robust career in Engineering working as Planning Engineer till 2001 and Maintenance Coordination Engineer until 2006. He then expanded his career acquiring the position of Head of Planning in 2007 at Al Shaheen Holding (fully owned Subsidiary of QatarEnergy (Formerly Qatar Petroleum)). In 2008, he was appointed as HR and Administration Manager. Mr. Al-Mannai held this position up until his joining Gasal Company in 2016.

Elias Nasr

Chief Operating Officer

Elias Nasr holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering - Industrial Control from the Lebanese University and is recognised at Air Liquide as an International Technical Community Leader in Smart Manufacturing (Process Control, Instrumentation and Industrial IT).

Elias has worked at Air Liquide for more than 14 years, most recently at the AMEI Smart Innovative Operations Center (SIOC), where he deployed SIO for Air Liquide facilities at the AMEI Hub. In this role he was in charge of the Remote Operation Control Center, the LEAD Center (Leading Enterprise Analysis & Diagnostics Center) and Smart Manufacturing where he was responsible for ensuring that the plants ran at their optimum production level delivering the reliability levels required to guarantee customers’ satisfaction. Elias was also responsible for defining the mid-term strategy of the SIOC.

Prior to his appointment at the SIOC, his experience also included previous commissioning and maintenance management roles at Air Liquide.

Maurice Atieh

Mr. Maurice Atieh holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Balamand, Lebanon.  

With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Atieh started his professional career as a Mechanical Engineer at MIDMAC Contracting Co. WLL in 2004 and quickly took responsibilities on projects leading him to Mechanical Project Engineer in 2007.  Further expanding his career, he acquired the position of Assistant Construction Manager in 2008 with Air Liquide Engineering Middle East, before taking the Construction Manager role in 2009. In December 2010 he joined Gasal as Technical Manager for Gasal Projects. He was the Project Manager for Gasal N2/O2/H2 pipeline and Gasal Oxygen RLW8-1 before joining the Commercial team as a LI Basin Manager for MIC in 2016.

Khalid Al-Rasheed

Chief Business Excellence Officer

Mr. Al-Rasheed is a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 2008. He started his career in QatarEnergy (Formerly Qatar Petroleum) Refinery as Shift Supervisor, and got promoted to Operations Engineer in 2012. Mr. Khalid then Joined Qatar Petrochemicals (QAPCO) as the Assistant Head of Health, Safety & Environment. Mr. Al Rasheed held this position until joining Gasal in June 2016.
